We have developed Health Bid Network to be an inexpensive way for Consumers of Health Care to connect with Providers of Health Care. Initially, this connection will be for primarily "Out of Pocket" expenses. Health Care needs that your family currently pays cash for. You can informally browse our registered Providers looking for a suitable match and simply place a phone call on your own. Or, you can post a formal "Case" on the system and have registered Providers from around the country (and the world) "Bid" to provide that service. You can then choose to contact the providers of your choice using your own selection criteria (i.e. Cost, Location, Specialty, etc.). In many cases, you may realize substantial cost savings over the traditional approach in today’s health care whereby price is rarely discussed. Travel is an important component of Health Bid Network. If you are willing to travel a short distance, across the country or around the world, you may be able to get a complete package price for your health need that includes Travel, Lodging, Transportation and Meal expenses. We will also have Consumer provided listings of prices for Drugs and Services that will help shed some light into the mysteries of health care costs.
